Biography
High School:
- Attended Bloomington High School South
- Swam for 4 years on the varsity level
- Swam the 100, 200, and 500 yard freestyle events, placing top 5 in the 500 free at sectionals his senior year
- Team also won sectionals his senior year
- Played 4 years of high school football as a quarterback and long snapper
- Won sectionals his last 3 years, and in his senior season the team made it all the way the the semi-state championship game
Personal:
- Parents are Meredith and Stephen
- Has one sibling, Sydney
- Major: Applied Mathematics, Engineering, and Physics
- Both parents rowed at the University of Rhode Island
- His dad rowed with the US National team and the Olympic team
- Won gold in the lightweight men’s doubles skull in 1990 at Nationals.
