Biography

High School:

  • Attended Bloomington High School South
  • Swam for 4 years on the varsity level
  • Swam the 100, 200, and 500 yard freestyle events, placing top 5 in the 500 free at sectionals his senior year
  • Team also won sectionals his senior year
  • Played 4 years of high school football as a quarterback and long snapper
  • Won sectionals his last 3 years, and in his senior season the team made it all the way the the semi-state championship game

Personal:

  • Parents are Meredith and Stephen
  • Has one sibling, Sydney
  • Major: Applied Mathematics, Engineering, and Physics
  • Both parents rowed at the University of Rhode Island
  • His dad rowed with the US National team and the Olympic team
  • Won gold in the lightweight men’s doubles skull in 1990 at Nationals.
