Ricardo Martin joined the Badgers' roster in January 2010. He made his debut for the UW against Butler on Jan. 23, posting a 6-3, 6-4 victory at the No. 5 singles position. Martin's freshman campaign was highlighted by a three-match winning streak to start his career and a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 win over Niall Angus at No. 5 singles against then-No. 17 Texas A&M. He finished the season with a 7-9 singles mark. As a sophomore, Martin combined for 10 singles victories through the fall and spring seasons.
