Ricardo Martin joined the Badgers' roster in January 2010. He made his debut for the UW against Butler on Jan. 23, posting a 6-3, 6-4 victory at the No. 5 singles position. Martin's freshman campaign was highlighted by a three-match winning streak to start his career and a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 win over Niall Angus at No. 5 singles against then-No. 17 Texas A&M. He finished the season with a 7-9 singles mark. As a sophomore, Martin combined for 10 singles victories through the fall and spring seasons.

2010-11 Singles: Went 5-16 in spring dual matches, appearing at the Nos. 2-5 slots ... lone Big Ten victory came against Christopher Hasyn of Penn State (April 17) ... finished the fall season with a 5-7 record ... was 1-2 at UVa Ranked Plus One Invitational (Sept. 26) ... went 2-2 at the Wildcat Invitational (Oct. 17) ... dropped two matches at the USTA/ITA Midwest Regional Championship (Oct. 25)
