Eligibility (Indoor/Outdoor): Sophomore/ Redshirt Freshman

2020 Season

2020 Indoor Track: Placed 14th in the 60 meters (premier) with a time of 6.99, competed as a member of the 4x400 (premier) relay that placed ninth with an overall time of 3:21.90 and placed fourth in the 200 meters with a time of 22.28 at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational (1/17-18)... Placed 11th in the 60 meters (prelims) with a time of 6.88, took eighth in the 200 meters with a time of 21.74, took 22nd in the 400 meters with a personal-best time of 49.21 and was apart of the 4x400 meter relay that placed 13th with a time of 3:17.03 at the Meyo Invitational (2/7-8)
 

2019 Season

2019 Outdoor Track: Competed as a member of the 4x400 relay that placed 25th with an overall time of 3:14.67 at the Penn Relays (4/27)

2019 Indoor Track: Took 13th in the 60 meters, matching his personal best of 6.89 in the preliminary heat and also finished 17th overall in the 200 meters, clocking in with a time of 21.70 at the Big Ten Championships (2/22-23) ... ran the 400 meters leg of the distance medley relay with a split of 48.30, helping set a school record in the event with an overall time of 9:26.24 at the Alex Wilson Invitational (2/16) ... took sixth in the preliminary heat of the 60 meters with a personal best qualifying time of 6.89 and went on to earn a fifth-place finish in the final heat in 6.89 and also took fourth in the 200 meters with a personal best time of 21.64 at the Power Five Invitational (2/1-2) ... finished eighth in the preliminary heat of the 60 meters with a qualifying time of 6.94 and went on to take eighth in the finals with a time of 7.05, took 12th in the 200 meters with a time of 22.21, finished seventh overall in the 400 meters with a time of 49.59 and helped the Wisconsin "A" 4x400 relay to a third place finish with an overall time of 3:16.38 at the Indiana Relays (1/25-26) ... finished third overall in the 200 meters with a time of 21.95, tied for 11th place in the premier 60 meters race with a time of 6.95 and helped the Wisconsin relay team finish tenth in the premier race with an overall time of 3:15.74 at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational (1/18-19) ... in his first collegiate race, won the preliminary heat of the 60 meter dash in 6.94 seconds and went on to win the final heat in 6.90 and also win the 300 meters with a time of 34.89 at the Badger Icebreaker (1/12)

High School

Senior year, was the Arizona state champion in the 100 meters, clocking in a time of 10.60, and the 200 meters, finishing in 21.61 … was named Arizona Boys’ Sprinter of the Year in 2018 … ran the fastest wind-legal 100 meter time in the state of Arizona during the 2018 season … also played football … high school coach was Don Abram.

Personal

Father is Stacey Boyd … uncle Lenzie Jackson played football at Arizona State University and played in the NFL from 1999-2007 ... father Stacey Boyd competed in track and field at California State University, Long Beach and set a UNLV stadium record in the 400 meter hurdles in 1991 … intends to major in retail and consumer science
