2015-16: Finished 38th in the 50-yard freestyle (23.68) after finishing 37th with a time of 23.62 in the preliminary heat, and placed 24th in the 100-yard freestyle (51.35) after finishing 26th with a time of 51.17 in the preliminary heat at the Texas Invitational ... finished third in the 100-yard freestyle at Northwestern with a time of 51.80 ... placed third in the 50-yard freestyle (23.89) and fifth in the 100-yard freestyle (51.89) vs. Minnesota.

Parents are Sue and Bryan Kosten... has two sisters, Eve, and Lizzie... intended major is economics
Prep
USA Swimming Senior National qualifier in both the 50- and 100-yard freestyle... ranked as the No. 2 recruit out of Pennsylvania... junior national qualifier... winter national qualify... swam for the Central Bucks Swim Team

"She's a 50, 100, 200 girl and a really hard worker, which is part of what drew us to her. Her coach spoke to the fact that she's the hardest worker on her team and she's a great young lady. We have a tradition of very good sprinters, especially on the women's side, and I think Emily is going to come in and continue that tradition of excellence."
