High School: Competed in volleyball, swimming and rowing in high school, earning four letters for rowing… a part of the Rouge Rowing Club team… attended the 2017 and 2018 Junior National Team Development Camp for rowing... three-time Oregon state champion... 2020 Female Athlete of the Year
Personal: Parents are Eve and Joel Benton… father is an attorney... has one brother, Jack … intended major is communication arts
Reason for choosing UW-Madison: As soon as I stepped foot on campus, I knew that UW-Madison was the perfect fit for me. I loved the community aspect in every part of my initial visit, from the team to the campus as a whole.
What Wisconsin rowing means to you: To me, Wisconsin rowing means hard work and dedication. It is very inspiring for me to be around like minded individuals who are all striving for success.
