Why Wisconsin: I chose UW-Madison because it’s a place where I can pursue my passions and grow both academically and athletically. The university offers many opportunities for involvement in research and provides a rigorous education that will challenge me to reach my full potential. I’m particularly excited about being part of a rowing program that competes at a high level, where I can learn from experienced coaches and teammates. The campus environment fosters personal growth, and I’m inspired every day by my teammates and classmates, who motivate me with their passion, discipline, and commitment.
What Wisconsin rowing means to you: To me, Wisconsin Rowing represents a commitment to both mental and physical strength, where personal growth and health are prioritized. This culture has been established by motivated coaches, teammates, and support staff. The Wisconsin Women’s Rowing program encourages us to develop resilience and discipline, while supporting each other through challenges and growing together. This fosters an environment where athletes can achieve both personal development and athletic success. Wisconsin Rowing is a community built on work ethic, teamwork, and always striving to be better, both as athletes and individuals. I am proud to be a Badger!
