Biography

2016-17: Won her second Big Ten Championship with the novice eight, rowing stroke (5/15) … stroked the novice eight to a wins over Minnesota (5/1, 4/23), Kansas and Oklahoma (4/23)

2015-16: Won the Big Ten Championships with the novice eight, rowing in the one seat (5/15)... bowed the novice eight to five first place finishes, including a win at Minnesota (5/1), a sweep of Kansas, Minnesota, and Oklahoma at the Big Ten/ Big 12 Invitational (4/23) and wins over Iowa and Indiana at the Big Ten Double Dual (4/9)... rowed with an open four and helped the novice eight to a win at Head of the Rock (10/12)

High School: Earned three letters in four years of rowing … took first place at the 2014 Virginia Scholastics Rowing Championships in the women’s lightweight four … placed second at the 2014 Stotesbury Cup in the women’s lightweight four … also finished second at the 2014 SRAA National Championships in the women’s lightweight four … won four letters in swimming

Personal: Parents are Marci and Christopher … sister’s name is Cassie … intends on majoring in pre-kinesiology

Reason for choosing UW-Madison: I chose UW-Madison because it not only fulfilled my academic goals, but also my athletic goals.  I know that I can be pushed academically and athletically as a student here.

What Wisconsin rowing means to you: Wisconsin rowing to me means teamwork, dedication and determination. It’s great to know I have huge support team who are more like my extended family. This team has pushed me outside of my comfort zone and I love it. It also means being part of a tradition of excellence both on and off of the water. I am proud to a Badger.
