Why Wisconsin?
"I choose the University of Wisconsin-Madison to play volleyball at the highest collegiate level and gain an excellent education while challenging myself to become a better person. I love the intensity and competitive environment that the B1G has created for volleyball, and enjoy playing in front of our fans and representing Wisconsin Volleyball. I also enjoy going to college with my younger sister Taylor who is in her Junior year at Wisconsin and begins close to my family in Minnesota."

Describe what it is like to play in Field House. Electric, from the fans, the student section, the band, kids running around, and our family members in the stands playing in the Field House is like no other place. Our fans understand the game of volleyball and you can feel the intensity and excitement in the whole building for any given game day!
First started volleyball: I first started playing volleyball when I was around 7 years old and tried out for my first club volleyball team (Mizuno Northern Lights) when I was 12 years old.
The best part of playing volleyball is: getting a huge solo stuff block, literally nothing will beat that feeling!
Before each match, I: use mindfulness meditation to prepare my mind and body for competition, its also a must to fuel up with some Starbucks and get hype with some music!
Best UW road trip: I love traveling to Minnesota; I enjoy a border battle and Big Ten rivalry Game, and I also love playing a competitive game in my home state in front of my family and friends.
The best thing about the Field House is: The best thing about the Field House is our Fans and the Student Section! I do no doubt that we have the loudest and most engaged section ever! Area Red is always hyping us up with new cheers and energy for each game!
One word that describes the team: Rambunctious
What is the best thing you bring to the team? My open mindedness and willing attitude to fill whichever role best fits the team.
Favorite thing to do off the court with my teammates is: I love spending time outside with my teammates in the summer, and we love going to the union terrace or hanging out by the pool.
Is there anything significant about your uniform number? My dad wore No. 77 because seven was his lucky number and No. 77 would give him double the luck. I love odd numbers and when given the chance to wear the No. 7 jersey at Wisconsin, I couldn’t pass up the offer.
Dream as a collegiate player: WIN A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AND ANOTHER B1G TITLE
The best thing about the Field House is: The best thing about the Field House is our Fans and the Student Section! I do no doubt that we have the loudest and most engaged section ever! Area Red is always hyping us up with new cheers and energy for each game!
The best thing about Madison is: how lively the city is throughout the year! I love going to new places in the city and spending time at festivals, the farmers market, different restaurants, and days on the lakes!
What is your favorite Coach Sheffield saying? The classic Kelly Sheffield sayings that are my favorite would be “Great morning” or “What stood out at you.”
