Brent Neuharth

Brent Neuharth is in his seventh year with the Wisconsin Badgers, and the 2025-26 season will mark his fifth as the athletic trainer for the men's basketball program.

Before joining Wisconsin men's basketball, he worked with the UW men’s and women’s track and cross country teams, during which the men’s cross country team won three consecutive Big Ten championships.

Prior to his time at Wisconsin, Brent worked six seasons in the St. Louis Cardinals minor league system, most recently with the AA Springfield Cardinals.

Neuharth served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill working with the football and fencing teams. In 2014, he earned his master’s degree in exercise and sports science/athletic training from UNC-Chapel Hill.

In 2011, Neuharth earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison while studying athletic training and kinesiology.

Neuharth and his family live in De Forest, Wisconsin.
