Men's Hoops Boosters to Host Steak Fry

The UW men's basketball boosters will kick off the 2001-02 season on Monday, Oct. 8 with the annual Basketball Boosters Steak Fry. The event, which will be held in the Nicholas-Johnson Pavilion at the Kohl Center, will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a cash bar, dinner at 6:30 and a program at 7:30.

Head coach Bo Ryan, whose Badgers open practice on Oct. 13, will speak at the event. Fans interested in attending the 2001 Steak Fry can call Dan Lawrence of the Badger Basketball Boosters at (608) 251-5511.
