Men's Cross Country Places Second

The Wisconsin men's cross country team finished second out of 25 teams at the 2002 Jim Drews Invitational Saturday in West Salem, Wis. The Badgers finished with 62 points while Minnesota won the race with 30 points.
Wisconsin sophomores Matt Tegenkamp and Tim Keller were the top two finishers for the UW. Tegenkamp placed third in 25:01.3 with Keller right behind for fourth place in 25:03.3.
Junior Drew Hohensee ran a time of 25:23.4 for 11th place and classmate Joe Eckley placed 12th in 25:25.0. Sophomore Ryan Cole completed the race 32nd in 25:52.7. Freshman Ben Gregory finished the scoring for the Badgers, running a time of 26:03.5 for 41st.
Wisconsin's next race is the Big Ten Championships on November 3 in West Lafayette, Ind.
