Brett Bell, a sophomore defensive back with the Wisconsin football team, has been suspended from the team for disciplinary reasons and will not play in the Alamo Bowl presented by MasterCard on Dec. 28, Badger head coach Barry Alvarez announced Saturday.

Wisconsin leaves for San Antonio on Sunday to begin preparation for its bowl game with Colorado.
