Badgers Tie for Tenth at Legends Shootout

Shooting this fall's 18 and 54-hole low scores, the Wisconsin women's golf team finished in a tie for 10th place at the par 72, 6,207-yard Legends Golf Course in Franklin, Ind. on Oct. 6th and 7th. UW carded 303-302-307--912 for the 18-team tournament.
Senior Malinda Johnson took the reigns for the Badger team, tying for fourth individually. She fired scores of 71-75-71 for a 54-hole total of 217, her lowest of the 2003 fall season.
Sophomore Lindsay McMillan was next for Wisconsin. She took 26th place with scores of 74-75-76--225. Jackie Obermueller tied for 49th, carding 79-76-77--232. Freshman Nicki Morse rounded out the Badger scores with 79-76-83--238.
Freshman Jill Ries also competed for UW in the first and second rounds with scores of 79 and 80, respectively, but withdrew in the final round.
