Macy Earns WCHA Player of the Week Nod

Sophomore Lindsay Macy earned the season's first Western Collegiate Hockey Association Offensive Player of the Week honors, Monday. Her impressive eight points on the weekend solidified her accolade.

Macy began her 2004-05 season with a goal and four assists Friday night. Three of her four assists went to teammate Sara Bauer's first career hattrick. Macy registered the second hattrick of the season and of her career Saturday night. One of her goals capitalized on a power-play.

The Badgers open WCHA action Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 16-17 against Bemidji State. The puck drops at 2:05 both days.
