The Badgers stand in a tenth-place tie with Alabama (631) at the 19-team Lady Razorback Invitational in Rogers, Ark. Iowa State (601) extended its lead to ten strokes at the par-72, 6,015-yard Pinnacle Country Club over host and defending champion Arkansas (611). Michigan remains the top Big Ten school in the standings. The Wolverines placed sixth after 36 holes (621), two strokes behind Illinois State (619).
Mayumi Kobayashi (79-76=155) and Nicki Morse (76-79=155) led the Wisconsin effort during the tournament's second round. The duo is tied for 20th with the top players from Kansas, Nebraska and Western Michigan. Kobayashi's second round matched Morse's first round and helped Kobayashi establish a new career 36-hole low for the freshman, two strokes ahead of her previous best.
Lindsay McMillan follows 14 places behind with consecutive rounds of 79 (79-79=158) to manage a 34th-place tie with four others. Melissa Martin improved three strokes from her first round to earn a tie for 64th (83-80) while Katie Elliott capped Wisconsin's effort in 91st (84-85=169).

Meshke approaches the meet's individual 54-hole record of 218 heading into the final round, needing a 77 or better to set the new record.
