Senior Erasmus James, the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and the Big Ten Defensive Lineman of the Year, has been named to the American Football Coaches Association's 25-player All-America team, the AFCA announced.

James, already a consensus first-team All-Big Ten selection and finalist for the Lombardi, Nagurski, Bednarik and Hendricks Awards, leads the conference with eight quarterback sacks.

James and the rest of the Badgers will return to practice on Saturday as they begin preparations for their Jan. 1 Outback Bowl matchup with Georgia.
