Badger Men's Golf Team at Boilermaker Invitational

The Badger men's golf team is in 18th place with a 301-315--616 following the first 36 holes of the Purdue Invitational. The host Purdue men's golf team leads the field at the Boilermaker Invitational on the Kampen Course at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. Purdue fired a 285 on the first 18 holes and a blistering 277 on the second 18. Their total of 562 leads second-place Kentucky by nine strokes.
Garrett Jones leads the Badgers and is tied for 37th shooting a four-over par 72-76--148. Brian Brodell is tied for 62nd with a 152 followed by Kevin Tassistro and Ryan Conn (tied 81st with 158) and T.J. Blakemore tied for 89th with a 166.
The event concludes with 18 holes on Sunday. The Pete Dye-designed Kampen Course is a par 72, 7,200-yard layout. Sunday's final round begins at 8 a.m. CT. Complete results can be found at purduesports.com.
