Badgers in 18th at Kepler Invitational

The Badger men's golf team turned in a 313-313=626 for the first two rounds of the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate, hosted by Ohio State. UW sits in 18th place heading into Sunday's final round at the par 72, 7,251-yard Ohio State Scarlet Course.
Xavier leads the field with a 585, followed by Toledo in second. Ohio State, Kent State, and four teams in a tie for fifth round out the top five of the 18-team field.
Kevin Tassistro led the Badgers, firing 75-78=153, in a tie for 44th. Next was Ryan Conn, tied for 50th, with 80-74=154. Freshman Garrett Jones carded 78-80=158 and Brian Brodell rounded out the low four with 80-81=161. T.J. Blakemore also participated for the Badgers, with scores of 84-90=174.
Wisconsin will finish the tournament Sunday morning with a final 18-hole round.
