Senior golfer Malinda Johnson earned a spot on the 2004 All-Big Ten First Team for her fourth place finish at the conference tournament last weekend. She fired scores of 72-73-77-77=299 for the 72-hole tournament held at the OSU Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio.
Johnson earned All-Big Ten Second Team honors in 2003, but has not previously been named to the First Team.
The Eau Claire native's 72-hole score of 299 ranks fourth in Wisconsin's record book, after her own and former Badger Allie Blomquist's all-time low score of 296.
