Women's Golf Releases 2004-05 Schedule

The Wisconsin women's golf team released its 2004-05 competition schedule this week. The team will kick off its fall season on September 11th in Ann Arbor, Michigan at the Lady Northern Invitational. The Badgers will then head to East Lansing, Mich. to compete in the Mary Fossom Invitational on Sept. 18th. At this year's Fossom Invite Wisconsin placed seventh out of 16 teams. UW is back in action on Oct. 4th as they take part in the Legends Shootout in Franklin, Ind. Wisconsin will finish off the fall season at the Lady Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. on October 17-19.
UW will be swinging again on February 21st in Brandenton, Fla. when they compete in the Central District Classic. The following weekend, the Badgers will head to Cypress, Texas, for the annual 'Mo'Morial Invitational. Wisconsin then takes a three week hiatus from competition but returns on March 24th to compete in the Port Armour Invite on in Greensboro, Ga. UW then heads back north to Bloomington, Ind. for the Indiana Invitational on April 2-3. Wisconsin returns to Indiana on April 16th for the Boilermaker Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind. The Badgers wrap up the 2004-05 season where they started, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for the Big Ten Tournament on April 22-24. Wisconsin tied with the Wolverines for fifth place in the 2004 Big Ten golf Championships.
