Badgers Finish One, Two at Hawkeye Invite

Juniors Bobby Lockhart and Ben Gregory finished first and second, respectively, as the Badgers finished second at the 2004 Hawkeye Invitational in Iowa City, Iowa. The Hawkeyes narrowly won the meet with a total of 27 points to Wisconsin's 28. Loyola came in third with 39 total points.
Lockhart won the race in a time of 25 minutes, 10 seconds while Gregory followed behind in 25:22. Rounding out the top runners for UW was sophomore Teddy O 'Reilly, who came in seventh with a time of 25:31, while senior Colin Steele (26:02) and sophomore Codie See (26:04) placed 10th and 11th, respectively.
Ben Porter, a freshman at UW, finished the race in 26:30 taking 14th place.
The Badgers continue their season at the Roy Griak Invitational Sept. 25. in Minneapolis on
