Wisconsin Rises in the Polls

The University of Wisconsin football team (9-3) ended its regular season last Friday with a victory over Hawaii and as a result, moved up to No. 21 in the AP Poll and No. 20 in the USA TODAY/Coaches' Poll.
The triumph gave UW its sixth nine-win season under head coach Barry Alvarez. The Badgers were previously 24th in the AP Poll and 22nd in the Coaches'.
Southern California (11-0) remained the nation's top-ranked team. At No. 4, Penn State (10-1) is the Big Ten's top team, followed by No. 6 Ohio State (9-2), No. 20/21 Michigan (7-4) and No. 25 Iowa (7-4).
