Calhoun, Williams Named AP Second-Team All-America

University of Wisconsin junior running back Brian Calhoun and senior wide receiver Brandon Williams were named by the Associated Press to its All-America second team, it was recently announced.
Calhoun, also a second-team All-American by SI.com, tied for second nationally with a school-record 23 touchdowns (21 rushing, two receiving) this season. He is joined by Memphis RB DeAngelo Williams on the second team.
Williams, who also returns punts and kickoffs, was chosen as an all-purpose player. In addition to posting team-highs of 53 receptions for 922 yards, he ranks No. 8 nationally in punt return average (15.6 ypr) and No. 10 in kickoff return average (28.0 ypr).
Calhoun, Williams and the rest of the Badgers are continuing preparations for their Capital One Bowl game vs. Auburn on Jan. 2.
