Keseley Earns Rookie Honors

The Western Collegiate Hockey Association announced Angie Keseley as the conference rookie of the week, Tuesday. This is the first weekly honor for Keseley and the first rookie honor for the Badgers this season.
A native of St. Louis Park, Minn., Keseley helped the Badgers to a two-game sweep of Bedmiji State. The newcomer registered two assists in the first night 's 10-3 win. In game two she added a goal and an assist to her tally. Keseley leads all Badger freshmen and is sixth in team scoring with 16 points.
Keseley and the Badgers (14-2-0, 11-1-0 WCHA) travel to Minnesota Duluth (14-2-0, 12-2-0 WCHA) for a series at the DECC, Dec. 9-10. The games are set to begin at 7:07 p.m. Friday and Saturday. This will be the last series of the 2005 calendar year as the Badgers will be on hiatus for the university's winter break until Jan. 6-7 when they visit Detroit and take on Wayne State.
