Badgers run at Indiana State Invitational

The Wisconsin men's cross country team opened the 2005 season with competition in the open 8,000-meter race at the Indiana State Invitational this past weekend.
Of the six Badger runners that competed, three finished within one second of each other. Freshman Matt Withrow crossed the finish line first with a time of 25:32.4 and shortly after, freshman Stuart Eagon followed with a 25:32.6 finish. Senior Antony Ford, who ran his first official meet as a Badger after transferring from Montana two years ago, recorded a time of 25:33.8.
The Badgers are back in action Saturday, Sept. 24 when the team looks to take its 12th Roy Griak Invitational title in Minneapolis, Minn.
