Post-Game Quotes
Wisconsin Head Coach Lisa Stone
On the UW's 7-0 home record: 'It sounds great to be undefeated at home. At this great place here, we need to do that. We owe it to our fans to play and win games, and we've done a good job of that so far.'
On Albany's effort: 'We give Albany a lot of credit, they hung in there. They used a lot of timeouts in the first half, and as many as they could in the second half to try and stay in it. They made us play a little ugly. We were tentative, and obviously they made us turn the ball over. They forced us into 22 turnovers, and that's something that we'll certainly discuss, but again, it's another win. You can't discount that we're 10-1, and it feels good. We're just going to have to tune some things up before Wednesday.'
On the solid play from Wisconsin's guards: 'Jolene and Janese are really coming in on the glass and doing a nice job. Jolene ended up with six steals, 28 points, four assists, a bunch of rebounds, and only one turnover. That's a pretty solid game for quite a good player. Janese Banks had a double-double, so we're getting good perimeter play. We need our post players to step up a little more, continue to rebound, and continue to be a dominating force, because I know they can, that's just the bottom line.'
