Wisconsin Women's Golf 2006 Fall Schedule Announced

The University of Wisconsin women's golf team's 2006 fall schedule was announced today. For the second straight year, the Badgers open up the season by hosting the Badger Invitational at University Ridge Golf Course in Verona, Wis. Sept. 10-11. Last year the Badgers recorded their highest finish of the season when they placed sixth in the tournament.
UW hits the road for the first time when it travels to East Lansing, Mich., to compete in the Lady Northern Invitational Sept. 16-17. After a two-week break the Badgers head down to Lawrence, Kan., for the Kansas State Invitational Oct. 2-3.
Just one week later UW will travel to Indianapolis for the Legends of Indiana Oct. 9-10. Wisconsin wraps up its fall season when it travels to Charleston, S.C., Oct. 30-31.
The Wisconsin women's golf team's spring season has yet to be completed, but UW concludes the 2006-07 regular season with the 72-hole Big Ten Championships April 27-29 hosted by Michigan State University.
