
Badger Harriers Compete at Griak

The No. 1 ranked Wisconsin men's cross country team ran only four runners at the 21st annual Roy Griak Invitational Saturday in Minneapolis, Minn., and as such did not qualify to place as a team.
Sophomore Stuart Eagon led the Badgers, covering the 8,000 meter course in 24 minutes and 37.3 seconds to finish eighth overall. Fellow Sophomore Christian Wagner placed 21st overall with a time of 25:12.35.
Senior Codie See was the third Badger harrier to cross the finish line, placing 47th overall in 25:46.80. Freshman Craig Miller, competing in his first meet in a Badger uniform, rounded out the squad with a time of 26:25.65, good for 122nd place.
The Badgers are next in action Friday, Sept. 29 at the Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Ind. The race is slated to begin at 4:15 p.m.
