Badgers Enjoy Outback Luncheon
December 19, 2007 | Football
On Wednesday afternoon, the UW football team was treated to lunch by Outback Steakhouse and the Outback Bowl. After practice, the team headed over to the Outback Steakhouse on East Towne Blvd. next to East Towne Mall in Madison for wings, Bloomin' Onions, steak, chicken, potatoes and dessert.
Check out photos from the luncheon at the bottom of the page.
Head coach Bret Bielema along with players Chris Pressley and Ben Strickland talked to reporters before eating and everyone had the chance to visit with Outback Bowl representative, Mark Segal, who had made the trip all the way from Tampa, Fla. to congratulate and welcome the team.
The players autographed helmets and footballs for the Outback Steakhouse employees and filled up on all the food they could eat. The food and service was excellent and everyone enjoyed getting off campus for lunch.
