As the Badgers depart for Tampa in preparation for the 2008 Outback Bowl, Bowl Central on uwbadgers.com is the place for all things Wisconsin. Fans can access the site by clicking on the Bowl Central: Free Daily Updates tab on the right side of the screen.
The new site features live blogs from the UW Athletic Communications staff; Justin Doherty, Rudy Nigl and Erin Starck. Justin and Rudy will have live blogs going all week starting Christmas Day as the team and staff departs for Tampa. Erin will join the crew Dec. 29th and will spend time meeting and visiting with fans in the Tampa area going to the game and enjoying the Florida weather.
The new Bowl Central also features exclusive video and photos throughout the week. Justin, Rudy and Erin will have cameras with them at all times, snapping pictures of different fan events and team activities. Members of the Marketing and Video staffs will be arriving in Tampa on Dec. 29th and taking video footage of all the team and fan events while leading up the to the game on Jan. 1 against Tennessee.
The site will also have links to the Outback Bowl All-Inclusive page, which gives fans a one-stop site for information on the Badgers and Volunteers. The page will also have links to all the football news and updated stories on uwbadgers.com, as well as video clips from both uwbadgers.com and The Big Ten Network.
