
Golf Camps Planned this Summer

Plan now to attend one of three camps designed especially for girl golfers. University of Wisconsin head women's golf coach Todd Oehrlein and his assistant, Lori Murphy, will provide quality instruction at UW's home course, University Ridge. Lodging is on the UW campus. New this year is a parent-daughter camp June 22-23. This camp is offered for a parent and their daughter (for girls who have completes grades 3-8). It will focus on introducing girls to the game. On-course session to include rules, etiquette and golf course knowledge.
Following the Wisconsin PGA Junior at Yahara Hills is a full swing and short game camp June 26-29. This camp, which will focus on the fundamentals of the full swing as well as the short game, is for students looking to take their game to a new level. Educational sessions include weight training, course management, rules and college resumes and is for girls who have completed grades 6-12.
A short game camp is July 5-7. This camp will focus on the fundamentals of the short game. Educational sessions include course management, rules and green reading. Campers will be housed in Jones Hall on the UW campus. This camp is for girls who have completed grades 6-12.
