
Wisconsin's Womens Golf 2007-2008 Schedule Announced

The University of Wisconsin women's golf team's 2007-2008 schedule was announced today. The Badgers will open their fall season by hosting the Badger Invitational at the University Ridge Golf Course on Sept. 9-10. Last year, the team placed second with a 54-hole score of 932.
The Badgers have a one week break before traveling to University Park, Penn. to compete in the Lady Northern Invitational on Sept. 22-23. The next weekend, Wisconsin heads to Ann Arbor, Mich. for the Wolverine Invitational. UW rounds out their fall season by competing in the Iowa Invitational in Iowa City, Iowa on Oct. 6-7 and the E. Watts/Palmetto Intercollegiate in Kiawah Island, S.C. on Oct. 29-30.
Wisconsin kicks off its spring season by competing in the Westbrook Cup against Indiana University in Peoria, Ariz. on Feb. 10. After a two week break, the Badgers travel to Rio Grande, Puerto Rico for the Lady Puerto Rico Classic on Feb. 24-26. The Rio Verde Invitational is up next for UW in Rio Verde, Ariz. on Mar. 7-9.
The Badgers head south again for the Betsy Rawls Invitational in Austin, Tex. on Mar. 17-19 and the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic in Norman, Okla. on April 6-7. On April 19-20, UW will compete in the Lady Buckeye Invitational on April 19-20 in Columbus, Ohio.
To round out the spring season, UW will compete in the Big Ten Championships on April 25-27 in University Park, Penn. Last year, UW finished in 9th place with a team 72-hole score of 1272.
