The Wisconsin men's soccer team put a season-high 11 shots on goal but saw only        one find its way into the net in 2-1 loss to No. 22 Ohio State in a Big Ten Conference        matchup Saturday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
        The Badgers scored first but allowed a pair of second-period goals to the Buckeyes --        including a game-winner by Danny Irizarry in the 70th minute ' to again come        agonizingly close to their first Big Ten win.
        All five of the Badgers' conference matches have been decided by one goal or        fewer.
        After a scoreless first period, junior         athid=6004&deptid=122">        --> Brandon Miller  put Wisconsin on the scoreboard in the 50th minute with        his second goal of the season. Miller took a pass from junior         athid=5596&deptid=122">        --> Scott Lorenz  and finished with a shot from the left side of the box        that put the Badgers on top, 1-0.
        Lorenz finished with a game- and season-high seven shots, including five shots on goal.        He has tallied a total of 20 shots in the UW's last five contests, putting 14 of        those on goal.
        The Buckeyes answered four minutes later, as Konrad Warzycha converted on a deep shot to        knot the score with an unassisted goal in the 54th minute. Another 16 minutes passed before        Irizarry connected on the game-winner that snapped a three-match winless streak for OSU        (8-4-2, 2-2-0 Big Ten).
        The Badgers, meanwhile, fell to 0-4-1 in conference play and 6-6-2 overall. The UW is        winless in its last 12 Big Ten contests.
        The Badgers hit double-digits in shots on goal for the second time this season, but        Buckeyes goalkeeper Byron Neal stopped 10 of their season-best 11 shots on goal.         athid=6384&deptid=122">        --> Alex Horwath  had six saves for Wisconsin.
        Junior Taylor Waspi added four shots on goal for the Badgers, as he and Lorenz combined        for 11 of the UW's 13 shots.
        The team now faces a short turnaround, as it returns to Madison to prepare for a 7:30        p.m. contest against in-state rival UW-Green Bay on Monday at the McClimon Complex.
        The Badgers are 2-0 against teams from Wisconsin this season, having already downed        in-state foes UW-Milwaukee and Marquette.
