Tight end Owen Daniels hauled in four passes for 41 yards as the Houston Texans won their fourth game in a row by knocking off the Tennessee Titans 13-12. Daniels has emerged as one of the most reliable tight ends in the game, ranking fourth at the position in receiving yards (714), fifth in receptions (60) and fifth in receiving yards per game (51.0).
Wide receiver Chris Chambers made his eighth start of the season for the San Diego Chargers in their 22-21 comeback win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Chambers had his best outing in three weeks as he caught two passes for 28 yards.
Lee Evans of the Buffalo Bills caught four passes for 22 yards in the team's 31-27 loss to the New York Jets.
Jim Leonhard got the start for the fourth game in a row, but the Baltimore Ravens lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers 13-9. For the third time in the past five games, the defensive back recorded six tackles. On Sunday, Leonhard had five solo tackles, one assisted tackle and a pass deflected. On special teams, Leonhard returned five punts for a total of 90 yards, including a 46-yarder late in the first quarter that led to a Baltimore field goal.
Nick Greisen, a linebacker, played in his 11th straight game for the Ravens. Matt Katula was the team's long snapper.
Joe Thomas started on the offensive line for the Cleveland Browns but they dropped their fourth game in a row with a 30-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night. The Browns managed only 196 total yards of offense.
Defensive back Jamar Fletcher appeared in his sixth straight game for the Cincinnati Bengals but did not register a tackle in the team's 20-13 win over the Washington Redskins. Fletcher had started the previous two games for the Bengals and totaled six tackles in that time.
Going against Fletcher was center Casey Rabach of the Redskins. Washington totaled 280 yards of offense in the loss.
Defensive tackle Jason Jefferson saw action for the eighth game in a row as the Atlanta Falcons topped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 13-10. Mike Schneck was the long snapper for the Falcons.
Offensive lineman Dan Buenning played in his eighth straight game for the Chicago Bears as they defeated the New Orleans Saints 27-24 last Thursday night.
Defensive lineman Erasmus James was released by the Washington Redskins. He played in only five games for the team this year and had not played since week nine ' Offensive tackle Mark Tauscher of the Green Bay Packers was placed on injured reserve on 12/11 ' Linebacker Alex Lewis of the Detroit Lions was placed on injured reserve on 12/8
