Individual Notes
' RB P.J. Hill rushed for 140 yards, the seventh-best rushing performance by a Badger in a bowl game and the 10th time a UW running back has cracked the 100-yar plateau in a bowl game. It was also Hill's 20th career 100-yard rushing game, third-best in UW history. It was the second straight bowl game he has gained 100 yards after rushing for 132 yards vs. Tennessee in the 2008 Outback Bowl.
' It was Hill's second-best rushing total of the season, sixth 100-yard rushing game this season and fourth in the last five games. He finishes the season with 1,191 yards, the 17th best single-season total in UW history. Hill has rushed for 3,996 yards during his three-year Wisconsin career, third on the UW list behind only Ron Dayne (7,125) and Anthony Davis (4,676).
' Hill's 46-yard run matched his longest this season and tied for the second-longest run in Champs Sports Bowl history. He also had a 43-yard run in the third quarter.
' K Philip Welch kicked two field goals today his 19th and 20th of the season. That ties him for third place on UW's single-season list. Welch finishes the season 20-of-24 (.833) on field goals. That is the third-best single-season field goal percentage in school history.
' OL Kraig Urbik started his 50th career game.
