Previewing the Badger Ridge Run

Time is running out with just over a week left until Big Ten competition. The Badgers are hard at work practicing in preparation and will be setting their final lineup in the week to come.
With that in mind, the Badgers will close out a fantastic inaugural season for the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course with their final home meet on Saturday Oct. 24.
The Badger Ridge Run will include many local teams including UW-Whitewater and will showcase a number of unattached redshirt freshmen and underclassmen who will be seeing their last race this year. This race provides an opportunity for the underclassmen to get one last race in before major competition begins and provide the fans and coaches with a glance at the talent to look forward to in the coming years.
The men's 8k race will start at 10:30 a.m., followed by the women's 6k race at 11:15 a.m.
Free parking will be available in the lot adjacent to the Zimmer Course.
