
Landry highlights Wisconsin's all-conference picks

Three Wisconsin men's basketball players were honored Monday when the Big Ten announced its end of the year awards. Included among those was senior forward Marcus Landry who was a second and third-team All Big Ten selection by the coaches and media, respectively.
Landry leads the Badgers in scoring (12.7 ppg.) and blocks (33), ranking among the top 15 in the conference in both categories. Landry also ranks in the top 10 in the conference with his 50.0 percent shooting from the field (149-of-298).
Junior guard Trevon Hughes earned consensus honorable mention All-Big Ten honors from the media and coaches for the second year in a row. Hughes is averaging 11.9 points per game. He is shooting .377 from 3-point range and his 1.87 steals per game during Big Ten play was fourth in the league.
Senior forward Joe Krabbenhoft also earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors from the media. Krabbenhoft leads the Badgers with his 6.7 rebounds per game which is good for sixth place in the conference. He also ranks fourth in the Big Ten in free throw shooting hitting 64-of-76 from the charity line (84.2 percent).
