The Wisconsin women's golf team will host the Lady Northern Invitational on Sept. 27-28 at University Ridge Golf Course, one of five tournaments on its fall schedule that was announced Friday. It is the first time since 1999 that UW will host the prestigious Lady Northern.
Wisconsin will tee off at the Cougar Classic in Charleston, S.C., on Sept. 13-14 to open the 2009-10 season. That will be followed by the Lady Northern.
A week after the Lady Northern, the Badgers will make a trip to Columbia, Mo., to take part in the Johnie Imes Invitational. UW will then end the fall season with a pair of tournaments in Texas, The Alamo Invitational in San Antonio on Oct. 26-27 and the Challenge at Onion Creek the following week in Austin.
