Madison, Wis. - Defending champion University of Wisconsin finished the first two rounds of the 2010 Johnie Imes Tournament in sixth place at the Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, Mo. The Badgers carded a 297-304--601 and slipped from third to sixth after 36 holes.
Oklahoma State is in first place with a 579, eight strokes ahead of Colorado. Oklahoma (588) is in third place, followed by Florida International (593) and Kansas State (599). Princeton's Kelly Shon leads the tournament with a 4-under-par 70-70--140.
Wisconsin was led by sophomore Lindsay Danielson, who is tied for 11th after posting a 72-75--147. Alyssa Elliott is tied for 28th after shooting a 151. Jessie Gerry and freshman Kris Yoo are tied for 31st with a 152. Yoo's effort today is a new season and career 36-hole best.
Fresh off of an individual victory at the Badger Invitational, Carly Werwie shot a 81-77--158 to finish the day tied for 59th.
The tournament concludes with 18 holes on Tuesday.
