MADISON, Wis. – Saturday marked day two of the third annual Wildcat Diving Invitational, held at the University of Arizona's Hillenbrand Aquatic Center. The men competed on the 3-meter board, while the women's action took place on the 1-meter board.

Following up on his third-place finish in the consolation group on the 1-meter board Friday, sophomore Michael Ross, the lone male diver for Wisconsin, placed fourth in the consolation group on the 3-meter board with his score of 316.75.

To get to the consolation group, Ross came in 13th place in the preliminaries with his score of 297.10.

Meanwhile, on the women's side, two divers competed for the Badgers on the 1-meter board.

Sophomore Roxanne Fitter came in 12th place with her score of 247.60, which was good for a place in the consolation group.

Fitter's score of 204.90 in the consolation group was good for 8th place, behind winner En-tien Huang of Nevada (282.95).

Fellow sophomore Leslie Cannon finished the 1-meter preliminaries with a score of 192.05.

The Wildcat Diving Invitational ends Sunday with competition on the platform boards.
