
UW Women's golf announces spring schedule

Madison, Wis. - The Badger women's golf team will play six events this spring according to the scheduled released this week. UW competed in five events during its fall season.
Starting Feb. 27-March 1, the Badgers will appear in a new event, the Kinderlou Forest Challenge in Valdosta, Ga. UW will return to South Carolina March 6-8 for the Barefoot at the Beach Invitational at Myrtle Beach. The Badgers will head west over spring break March 21-22 for the BYU Entrada Classic at St. George Utah.
UW returns to more traditional events April 4-5 at the Indiana Invitational in Bloomington; April 16-17 the Badgers will be at the Buckeye Invitational in Columbus, Ohio. The Big Ten Championship, last year hosted by Wisconsin, will take place at the Lake Shore Country Club in Glencoe, Ill, and be hosted by Northwestern.
The Badgers hope to qualify for the NCAA Championships which will take place in May.
