MADISON, Wis. -
The Wisconsin women's diving team finished the final day of the Trojan Diving Invitational Saturday, held at USC's McDonald's Swim Stadium on Saturday. The Badgers competed on the 1-meter board on day two after previously competing on the 3-meter and platform boards Friday.

Senior Ciara Rinaudo and sophomores Leslie Cannon and Roxanne Fitter competed for the Badgers in the 1-meter preliminaries. While Rinaudo (211.05) and Cannon (190.80) finished 16th and 17th, respectively, it was Fitter's 10th-place finish (244.05) that sent Wisconsin to the finals.

Following up on her sixth-place finish on the platform and her 11th-place finish on the 3-meter board, Fitter finished in ninth place on the 1-meter board with a score of 236.60. USC junior All-American Victoria Ishimatsu won the 1-meter board competition with her score of 308.00.

The divers head home to join the swimmers in preparing for their next meet, a home meet against Big Ten rival Northwestern on Thursday. The meet starts at 5 p.m. at the UW Natatorium.
