MADISON, Wis. –- The Wisconsin men’s hockey program now has its own Facebook page and so there is yet another way to follow your Badgers.

Still consider UWBadgers.com as the official home of Wisconsin Athletics on the Web, but now you can become a fan of the program and get updates directly through the social medium. Badger men’s hockey has already been on Twitter for nearly a year and a half.

Wisconsin men's hockey officially opens the season on Oct. 2 with the first day of practice and the Red-White Scrimmage at 4 p.m. that day at the Kohl Center.

UW plays its first game on Friday, Oct. 8 at 8:30 p.m. CT against Boston University at the Ice Breaker Tournament in St. Louis. UW's home-opener comes Friday, Oct. 15 against Alabama Huntsville at 7 p.m. CT at the Kohl Center.
