Norman, Okla. -- The Wisconsin women's golf team finished seventh at the the 54-hole Susie Berning Maxwell Classic Tuesday. UW finished 45 strokes behind champion and host team Oklahoma which finished at 14-over par 293-285-300--878.
Texas Tech was second at 15-over 879 and Florida State and Texas A & M tied for third at 883.
Individually, senior Jessie Gerry led the Badgers finishing in a tie for 12th with a season best 6-over par 73-76-73--222. Junior Lindsay Danielson tied for 15th with a 7-over par 74-71-78--223.
Sophomore Kris Yoo, who had her second best career round in the first 18 with a 70, finished with a career best 9-over par 70-77-78--225 to tie for 22nd.
Reshirt freshman Kimberly Dinh finished tied for 83rd with a 27-over par 84-77-82-243. Aaren Ziegler finished her first collegiate travel experience placing tied for 86th at 80-80-88--248
Oklahoma's Anne Tanguay won the tournament and was one of only two players under par with a 6-under 72-67-72--210. Kimberly Kaufman of Texas Tech was second with 68-72-73--213.
