
Badgers to hold Snuggie Night Friday at the Kohl Center

MADISON, Wis. -- This weekend's series for the top-ranked Wisconsin women's hockey team includes several promotions for fans to enjoy, beginning with Friday's Snuggie Night presented by University Book Store. The Badgers host No. 8 North Dakota at 7 p.m. at the Kohl Center and want fans to show their spirit by wearing Snuggies to the game.
All fans who wear a Snuggie to Friday's game will receive admission for $1, and customized Snuggies have the chance to win prizes. The Badgers also welcome all Boy and Girl Scouts to the Kohl Center for Friday's game; all scouts in uniform will receive free admission.
Wisconsin (26-2-2, 20-2-2-2 WCHA) wraps up the series with North Dakota (17-8-3, 15-7-2-0 WCHA) in its final regular-season game of the year at the Kohl Center Sunday at 2 p.m.
All fans can purchase tickets to Sunday’s game for $1 by clicking here and entering the promotional code “FANS”.
Sunday is Local Hero day courtesy of Becker Law Office. The Badgers invite local fire departments, police departments, EMS personnel, veterans and other Dane County service departments to attend the game for only $1. Fans should email Heather Graves at HMG@athletics.wisc.edu for more information.
Captain Angie Joseph-Gaffke, RN, will take part in an honorary puck drop prior to Sunday’s game as part of the Local Hero Day celebration. Joseph-Gaffke is a Wisconsin Army National Guard Occupational Health Nurse & Medical Operations Officer.
Sunday's game features a Wisconsin men's basketball ticket stub offer as well. Fans that bring their Wisconsin basketball vs. Ohio state game ticket stub will receive $1 admission.
Finally, the Badgers will also honor their six seniors against North Dakota as part of Sunday's Senior Day. Plan to arrive early to honor these student-athletes as they play in their final home match at the Kohl Center as Badgers. Wisconsin’s 2011 senior class includes Mallory Deluce, Meghan Duggan, Anne Dronen, Kelly Nash, Carla Pentimone and Geena Prough.
