MADISON, Wis. -- The Badger family was struck last month when former UW goaltender Kirk Daubenspeck was severely injured in a car accident.
The Wisconsin hockey community has rallied to his side, and support for Daubenspeck and his family have been growing by the day.
Multiple fundraisers have been going on to help offset the costs for treatment and recovery efforts for the former Badger goaltender. This weekend, specially-designed shirts will be on sale in the Kohl Center concourse during Wisconsin's games Friday and Saturday against Colorado College.
The shirts feature the slogan “All for 1 and 1 for all” on the front, as well as Daubenspeck’s name and the No. 29 on the
back.
The shirts will be on sale outside of section 126, and will cost $29 – the same as the number that Daubenspeck wore throughout his professional career. Be sure to stop by and pick one up this weekend.
