MADISON, Wis. – For new women’s basketball director of operations Jill Jameson, one of the things on her bucket list is to drive the Wienermobile. She certainly moved to the right state for that!
Jameson comes to the Badgers after serving as the director of operations for women’s basketball at Virginia Tech for seven years. She will be in charge of team travel, equipment and the sport budget with the Badgers.

Family members: My parents are John and Joyce Jameson. I have two older brothers, Jay (45) and Jeff (43).
Hobbies/Interests: Love working with Athletes in Action, riding my Italian scooter, live music, fishing, coffee, flag football and international travel
Do you do any volunteer activities? What is your favorite? I love spending time at assisted living and nursing homes.
Why did you decide to coach at the University of Wisconsin? I’m extremely excited for the opportunity to be at Wisconsin, it’s an incredible school with amazing resources, and the chance to work with Bobbie is really great.

My bucket list includes: I have already run with the bulls in Pamplona Spain and went sky diving. I would love to drive the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile and be one of the sausages that runs around the field at a Milwaukee Brewers game.
