MADISON, Wis. -- The third annual PAC the MAC soccer doubleheader is Sunday, Oct. 2 at the McClimon Field. The exciting day of soccer action kicks off at 1:00 p.m. as the women's team hosts the Ohio State Buckeyes followed by the men's team hosting the Indiana Hoosiers at 3:30 p.m.
There are several exciting opportunities surrounding the event for fans of all ages. The following outlines the various promotional opportunities available during PAC the MAC:
• Football Ticket Stub Offer: When No. 7 Wisconsin welcomes No. 8 Nebraska to Madison on Saturday night for Nebraska’s first conference game as a member of the Big Ten, it will be the first time that two top-10 teams have squared off at Camp Randall Stadium since 1962. The excitement doesn’t have to stop there though! Be sure to redeem your ticket from Saturday night’s game on Sunday for your opportunity to receive FREE admission to both matches.
• Youth Team Day/High School Team Day: All local and statewide youth and high school programs are invited to attend the event and have their chance to receive FREE admission to both matches. Rosters must be submitted to Ryan Schulman (Athletic Marketing) no later than Thursday, Sept. 29th at 5:00 p.m. either via email at rschulman@athletics.wisc.edu or by fax at 608.265.0788.
• Student Day: All UW students can receive FREE admission to the match as well as be entered in a drawing to win up to $300 in Best Buy gift cards. Students can TRIPLE their chances of winning the gift cards by doing any three of the following things:
1. ALL students will receive a guaranteed entry into the drawing by picking up one (1) raffle ticket located at the Wisconsin Table just for attending the match. A valid UW student ID must be presented to receive this raffle ticket.
2. LIMITED seating will be available behind the north and south goals. These first-come, first-served seating areas are for UW students ONLY. All students who sit in these sections will receive a second raffle ticket and entry into the drawing as well as FREE T-shirts while supplies last. Doors open to the general public starting at noon.
3. RED CARD holders are also eligible to receive an additional raffle ticket by presenting their red card at the Wisconsin Table.
Drawings for the gift cards will take place during halftime of both the women's and men's soccer matches with $150 being raffled off at each match.
• Clinic Participants: A special reminder that Bucky's Buddies Soccer Clinic participants can receive FREE admission to PAC the MAC by presenting their red Wisconsin Soccer bracelet. Further, LIMITED seating will be available behind the north and south goals. A reminder, these first-come, first-served seating areas are for clinic participants who present their red wristbands ONLY. Doors open to the general public starting at noon.
• Verona Community Day: All Verona-area residents are invited out to the McClimon Soccer Complex for their opportunity to receive a limited-time $1 discount admission as a part of the new Wisconsin Women’s Soccer Community Night program. Please click HERE for further information.
• Gas for Goals: Every time the Badgers score two (2) or more goals in 2011, fans are eligible to win a $50 gas gift card courtesy of Kwik Trip. Fans can register up until intermission by submitting their name and contact information into a drawing for the gift card located at the Wisconsin Table.
