Team Notes
- Wisconsin is in sole possession of first place in the Big Ten standings at 9-1, halfway through the conference season.
- The Badgers beat their sixth ranked team of the season, going 6-2 against top-25 opponents.
- Wisconsin sold out the UW Field House for the fourth time this season, drawing 6,012 fan to up its season average to 4,746 per match.
- UW ended a 36-year drought in which it did not had a victory over the Huskers. The Badgers haven’t beaten the Huskers since Oct. 28, 1978. The win snapped a 17-match losing streak for the Badgers.
- The victory marks the 19-straight set win for the Badgers and ninth-straight match win. Wisconsin has won its last six matches by 3-0 scores.
- UW improves to 9-1 at home this season.
- Wisconsin held Nebraska to .143 team hitting percentage, below its Big Ten average of .145.
- The Badgers showed their balanced offense with all six starters putting away six-or-more kills.
Player Notes
- Taylor Morey broke her own three-set, 25-point rally scoring school record with 29 digs. The 5-5 libero broke her own mark of 26 digs set at Colorado State on Sept. 6. The 29 digs also tied her career best.
- Lauren Carlini logged a career high nine kills in the match, including four kills in the first set. The sophomore setter had an impressive performance by leading all players in with five blocks and 34 assists.
