How to Watch or Listen to Badgers Sports
August 28, 2014 | General News

MADISON, Wis. -- There are a number of changes in how fans can view Wisconsin and other Big Ten Conference events online this year. The new premium subscription service will be offered exclusively through BTN2GO, and a new platform, BTN plus. Audio streams will continue to be streamed FREE on the badgersportsnetwork.com.
These platforms are being used for online events. Traditional television broadcasts will also be available for many UW sports. Check the sports schedule to determine the TV carrier or link to the video streams when available.

New this year, all Wisconsin men's and women's events and news conferences that are streamed will appear on BTN2Go and not on the CBS All-Access platform. The Big Ten Digital Network (BTDN) has folded into BTN2Go. Games previously streamed on BTDN - often accessed via "All-Access" players on the school athletic sites -- will now be accessed on the BTN2Go platform.
BTN2Go delivers live and on-demand access to televised events at no additional cost to customers if BTN is part of your channel lineup. Use your TV Provider credentials to access the content on BTN2Go.
New for 2014, BTN2Go offers an ADDITIONAL 700+ non-televised and streaming-only events available to users with the purchase of a BTN Plus Subscription.
The first time a user attempts to watch a BTN Plus game on BTN2Go, they will be presented with a sign-up chart to purchase a BTN Plus Subscription. BTN Plus Subscriptions will be available in school-specific or conference-wide options. Conference subscriptions feature BTN Plus content for all of the schools in the Big Ten Conference. BTN Plus game archives will also be available on BTN2Go for users with a BTN Plus Subscription.
• BTN Plus Conference Monthly - $14.95
• BTN Plus Conference Yearly - $119.95
• BTN Plus School Monthly - $9.95
• BTN Plus School Yearly - $79.95

The games that air on ESPN and/or CBS will be available on demand on BTN2Go per their respective business rules. Also, iPad and iPhone apps for BTN2Go are available.
Using the BTN2go platform allows all of Wisconsin's streamed events to be available on a single platform, creating a better situation for fans and a less confusing message in terms of promotion of streamed events.
Wisconsin's weekly Monday news conference which starts at 12:30 p.m. CT and features coaches of sports in season will be streamed free on BTN2GO. UW students and staff should note if they are accessing BTN2Go and/or BTN Plus on the campus network no login credentials are required. The service is essentially free when accessing from a campus IP address.
To see if an event is streamed consult the school schedule on uwbadgers.com, or on the BTN2go schedule.

Living or traveling outside of North America to watch Big Ten games
If a user has a home in the U.S. and pays for cable/satellite in that home, he/she may be able to watch via BTN2Go.com (and BTN2Go iPad and iPhone apps). ABC/ESPN televised games are added for On Demand viewing beginning at approximately midnight ET on Saturday nights, so any Badger game that airs on ABC or ESPN will be available a few hours after it's finished. To see a list of carriers view the BTN2GO facts.
BTN is offered by many Canadian cable and satellite companies. No provider currently offers access to televised content online via BTN2Go at this point, however. BTN Plus will be available for purchase in Canada.
Audio Streams
All Wisconsin sports available on radio will be streamed FREE on badgersports network.com. A schedule of UW events and links to the streams are available there. For mobile devices, download the iHeartRadio app to hear streams on your mobile devices.
